Reviews (No More Heroes - The Stranglers)

(Not yet reviewed)
The Stranglers were one of the few bands that existed before punk that already had some of punks sensibilities and so were quickly accepted into their ranks.

Being a band with a rich supply of creative talent, they then managed to survive punks end and continue to produce exceptional music right upto this day.

No More Heroes was the title track to their second album, and was released in 1977 during the height of punk. The song itself is said to bemoan the lack of heroes in the modern world and was written by Hugh Cornwell, with the music being born out of a bass line composed by JJ Burnel.
